			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img align="right" width="232" src="http://gouldchiropractic.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/heel-xray.bmp" hspace="5" alt="heel xray" height="345" style="margin-left: 5px; width: 232px; margin-right: 5px; height: 180px" />When the arches of the feet flatten out (you have three arches in each foot), this will cause excess stress in the ligamentous structures, specifically the plantar aponeurosis in the bottom of the foot, leading to plantar fasciitis.</p>
<p>If you have heel pain when you get out of bed in the morning, it is likely that you have mechanical problems in your foot. If left unchecked, this can lead to heel spurs. If this problem is caught in its early stages, custom weight bearing orthotics can be cast and fitted to support the arches. By supporting the arches the stress is removed from the irritated ligamentous structures allowing the foot to heal.</p>
<p>Many people in the greater Cincinnati area are trying to live with this type of foot pain. Unfortunately, plantar fasciitis typically gets worse if left untreated. The pain eventually becomes disabling.</p>
